Hey Rach, do you know if the make them for bigger parrots like say for ringnecks, as one of mine loves to play hide & seek & have seen some on the US site of ebay, for the bigger parrots, but they look like the birds would chew them in minutes. Many thanks, Anna

Hey Anna,
To be honest having ringnecks myself would say that this is heaps big enough for an adult ringie to fit in, i would say big enough for even conures etc too .. in the add it says even Alexandrines ..infact i reakon this would be awesome for h/r babies just to keep them warm ;D let me see if he has any for sale and ill post the actual auction for both u and polly as it has pictures of them, im still waiting on the email to check if its ok to post his email addy for you all

That would be so good John. I have seen the material ones but the fluffy ones are what I am looking for. The birds luv to snuggle into that kind of material & well I can't sew so will have to buy one or two. Thanks heaps, Anna

Many thanks Rach & your kind offer is very appreciated. We are going to Sydney in under 2 weeks, so will see what is there John's way, & if it is not what I am looking for I will give you a buzz. I find that my ringies need to be constantly challenge, my poor tiels cages look barren compared to my 3 ringies cage, spoilt buggers. ;D ;D Cheers Anna

lol anna i know that feeling...every time i buy one toy i have to buy 4 to make sure no one feels left out lolol but tis always worth it to see them playing ;D and yes paul they r awesome, every so often she scares the hell outta me when i cant see her in the cage then i call her name and the bed starts moving and i feel better lol! when my ringies start breeding this year im going to try the sleeves with there babies ...altho in saying that this will be my first year of dealing with babies so depending on how many i get i will only h/r one of them ..i feel its better to do this instead of possible doing something wrong and and having to deal with the loss of more than one ....being a owner of many types of pets no matter what they are dealing with the death of just one animal is hard enough so fingers crossed by the end of the year i should have at least one h/r lutino ringie ;D which btw i will be keeping :x lmao (yes polly i think i will be joining yr group very shortly lol) oh lord im so pleased i just rented a large three bedroom place!!! im going to need it lol Rach

Hi Kim, they have some on Aussie Ebay at the moment, not quite as fluffy but certainly a real soft material. I usually buy most things for my birdies there, as it is much cheaper. They even go up to X large. Have you had any problems with your suns chewing at their Birdie Bungalow ?Cheers Anna

Hi Anna
I've bought most of mine from America but also had a friend make one as well. The suns like to chew on the loops or any threads especially, then they start on the hut itself. I think this is their fourth hut but it will last longer because we've put the suns in an aviary with a nestbox to sleep in. I might see if our quaker likes the hut. Ebay is wonderful isn't it!

Thanks Kim, I will keep that in mind when I get some. Ebay is just awesome. I managed to get a set of 4 large black cages for an absoulte steal, plus I was looking for large natural wooden beads, to make some interesting swings for my spoilt ones & got a pack of 100 for $3.31. The craft shops hear wanted a fortune for them. Every little bit helps when you are on a tight budget.
