hi Bill and Frank he is with 2 other ringnecks just plain ole green ones I wasnt sure what colour I would match him up with my knowlage of ringnecks is very new to me i have Just started to buy them so any help would be great I'm after a nice hen some one said about a pastel silver once but i forget which colours that will make up etc now he has a name "bluey" he needs a mrs "bluey" Thanx Frank ;D I owe you a beer as well Regards Paul

Hi Paul, he is great looking. I have 3 pet blues of my own & must admit blue is my favourite colour in the ringies. Don't know if I will ever breed them though, as they are becoming a bit sooky, & well sometimes h/reared pets don't make the best breeders. But I do have a Blue split for cinnamon male which I will later hook up with an albino female hoping to get skyblues. There are just to many different colours in ringies now & I get so confused with the names. Cheers Anna

i have a blue cock that is paired with a pastelblue hen, you only get blue and pastelblue babies but i'm am going to keep one or two pastelblue babies and breed them with skyblues to get pastelblue cinnamon

Hey Paul I'm glad you havce called him Bluey as it gives me bragging rights, ;DI'm not a ringneck specialist but know a little about genetics and if you found a Lutino split blue hen you will produce males that will be capable of producing Albinos (Pure White red eyes) in hens Frank
