Oh I know that, fruit & veg is so very expensive up here so Hubby and I get frozen or tinned!!! Our rainbow lori gets baby food as a treat!!! I should try the finly chopped method with my horrors. All my birds seem to do with their food is put it in their water. They get sick pleasure listening to me have a go at them for doing it. I swear my neighbours think I'm nuts!

Hey Guys
I bought Steve a groovy little food processor from Target just before Christmas for about $20 and he loves it. I didn't want to spend a fortune on one to find we don't like it or wouldn't use it so I bought this one to see if it would work for us and it does! We also find that the birds eat more, even the pickiest birds, and hang on the aviary wires waiting for it each morning, lol.

Great pics of the conures. Have to agree with you. Less waste with chopping up finely, but my ringies & pair of princess parrots still like to make soup in their water. Everthing goes in there. Bread, airdried popcorn (the favourite of all the birds) sprouts, veggies & fruit. When I go shopping it is always, now what do we need for our birds this week , not what we need lol. Geee I think I am getting bad when food for my birds takes first priority. ;D Cheers Anna
