Is he a black eye white (Blue strain)? I was told that they are rare, which is funny because I have one! He is a beautiful little bird!

He has black eyes..he's the replica of his father..Solid white with black eyes, his mother is blue..A guy at work breeds budgies, he said it's harder to get the white because the other budgies don't pair up with them easily because of no color, I only have the one pair, so they couldn't really pick and choose there partner..I don't know if thats true or not, but I've seen quite a few white ones around in the pet shops....

What a good looking bird you have there Jill. There is somthing special about whites while they are not particularly rare they are certainly worth keeping.
