For people like me (and Tony ;D) could you please tell us what they are. Now I'll show my ignorance .....
is the second one an Alexandra's Parrot? It's just gorgeous whatever it is. So are the others too of course!

very nice bev mmmmm might have to chat to the wife LOL the first one is a pair of musk lorikeets the second is a princess parrot male the third is a blue indian ringneck male and in the second lot of pics it looks like on the left is a blue female indian ringneck and a musk lorikeet and the one at the bottom looks to be an olive scaly breasted lorikeet how did i go bev thought i would have a guess regards bill

Yes Bill, You won the quiz you guessed right in all cases and that save me have to name them. They are all aviary birds but very friendly even the ringnecks which I only got last Sunday at the State Bird Fair have settled in well. mind you being retired I spend lots of time around the aviaries so they are used to me. However I was surprised to see how well the photos worked out. Regards Bev
