My New Additions

Hi Everyone,

Another admission for the confessional. Here are a couple of new introductions to my avian family. Two beautiful 7-8mth old Blue throated conures. Unrelated pair which will be added very nicely to my collection. As you can tell from the photos they are a very friendly pair.

Thanks, Jeremy. They shouldn't be a problem. They're a relatively simple (touch wood) species to breed. Interesting that they are endangered/threatened in the wild. We have a larger population of blue throated conures in Australian than there are in the USA!! Hard to imagine.

I have been approached by a number of registered American breeders re: exporting blue throated conures to the US.
