hello all well i went to check my birds today and to my suprise i found i managed to get a quick pic of mum and dad as well i new the eggs were due to hatch but it is still a suprise when they do hatch this is the first time i have breed peachface love birds so i am feeling happy about it as well now the wait will be to see what colour it will be regards bill

Awwww, it's so cute, Congratulations Bill, If i'm right in about 9 days mine should also hatch.....cant wait. ....Will you hand rear them or let mum do it Just curious as i know of someone who does hand rear them

hello LuvMyBirdsLee you will have to let us know how you go with yours no being the first time round i will wont be hand rearing them as i like to let them do it on there own to hone there peranting skills may be another cluch i will give it a go regards bill

Great work Bill nothing like new babies no matter what they are. You will find that you can handle the babies regularly Bill the parents dont seem to object in any way. Keep checking the nest for more babies too Bill they will hatch every other day, is it her first clutch and how many eggs are there in the nest.

John hello john yes it is her first clutch and she had 4 eggs but only 3 look to be furtile being the first time will it hert or put them off if the young get handled or is it best to leave them the first time around regards bill

Bill, the parents are nice, are they Green Pieds? I have 3 pairs of Lovebirds hatching at the moment as well, hope all goes well with your babies ;D
