hello tim they look great are they perant raised or hand reared the greys the box they are in are they some kind of nest box or are they just a holding box regards bill Hi Bill, All the eckies and greys are handreared, but are not human imprinted. The eckies will all be sold directly to the pet trade, but my breeding partner and I will be holding the greys back for future breeding stock. The blue throated in the photo is a smart bugger as she managed to pick the cage lock two days ago. I went into the bird room only to find her flying around. Luckily I was able to coax her back in with her favourite fruit - an orange. The greys, in the photo, are being reared in a couple of plastic toy boxes (the ones you can get at Kmart/Target). The nest boxes greys breed in are the same ones given to eckies (L-shaped nestbox).

Oh wow, they are gorgeous Tim, well done. They look so innocent in the pics, with those eyes staring at you lol. You must feel very proud of yourself. Good luck, Cheers Anna

Good luck, Cheers Anna Well, they certianly have you fooled. They are far from being innocent. haha, they are a bit like the Sirens of Greek mythos...they lure wayward sailors with their hypnotic tunes and then BANG!! No, they are truly adorable. However, they have a mischievous trait to them.

Ha Ha Ha I know what you mean Tim. I have 3 blue Indian Ringnecks & while they may look innocent you have to watch them all the time. One minute they are sweet & loving then next day the little buggers will grab your ear & bite it just for fun & they know what they are doing lol. I do luv em to bits but I don't trust them & I h/reared them lol. I am being to realize that the bigger parrots are a lot more intelligent that say my tiels & learn things very quickly, so I, keep my eyes on them all the time now, as they can get up to all sorts of trouble. ;D ;D ;D. Cheers Anna
