I personally love to look at photos, especially of species available in Australian aviaries. There's really no point looking at stock from international aviaries as I just feel that there's no realistic way that I'd either be able to afford or have access to them. The greys are down to one feed a day and will soon be to one feed every two days. One's up for sale if you're interested.

haha, not quite at the moment. Once my collection is a little more established, I plan on donating a pair to the Melbourne Zoo. They really need to improve their avian collection. Abysmal.

that is very kind of you to give away a pair of African Grey's, when it happens i'm sure Melbourne Zoo will be very grateful. How much $$$ for the 'Cinnamon' Nandays ;D

Beautiful birds! I remember, when I asked in pet shop in Sydney about grey's price and gentleman told me 4-5.000$, I joked: "Can I lay by?"

hehe, Greys make brilliant companions. ;-) Highly recommend them as pets. As we all know, they have the intellectual and psychological standard of a 5 year old child.

In fact, they are possibly one of the more affordable conures in Australian aviaries. Pity NZ has such tough import laws otherwise I'd be able to sell you some. Here in Australia, we are allowed to export non-native psitaccines.

a good auction site is www.trademe.co.nz then search pets .....u will see how our prices r so over the top here. i was talking to my partner who is aussie last night and even he was saying that to import birds here.. when they arrive in the country r kept for about a year before we can pick them up, rather silly on some laws and very stupid on others we are lmao ill keep trying to convince em to move us all back to aussie lol if i didnt have shared custody with the ex hubby over the kids i would move there tomorrow!! lol Rach
