Great pics Suzy. To not have your birds freak while driving is a huge credit to you. Well done. Looks like they had a great time. Cheers Anna

No birdie freak outs from the car. It was Kylie's first trip in the car. She managed to get lots of handling in. We're trying desperately to tame her down.
Of course Karma is a traveller from way back. He's had many car trips, been on trains buses and trams.
He loves motorbike and bicycle rides too if I don't go too fast (in a flight suit or harness). He has to be restrained as occassionally he will try to fly when he gets a fright. In a car he's fine though.

wow how wonderful to have well travelled birds. Bells makes her trips in a cage, a suprise swoop attack on a unsuspecting drivers ear, could be nasty lol

What a wonderful journey it must have been...
Your lucky they travel so well I bought a young cockatiel back from Sydney to Melbourne in a car..I only travel them by plane now...I was on my own and he screemed from Sydney to Albury...4 hours non stop, by the end of the trip we were both totaly stressed and exhausted...
