Nice photos Amanda I love the lutino Red Rump I am excited here my pair of Lutinos have finally mated and she is inspecting nest boxes I actually bred the hen and i found a lutino male for her it will be her first clutch if she lays as she is only 12 months old I am looking forward to her first clutch.

good luck John! Hope you get babies too. This was my pair's first clutch as well. I'm going to definately keep the lutino and would value anyones opinion on a hen for him.

They're beautiful babies, Amanda. Yes, they do grow up too fast. I especially love the lutino one.

I would put him with a blue Amanda you might get Albino babies.

They have turned out great Amanda. Its so exciting getting the different mutations from them. Keep us posted.

........but you appear to be having my problems....all the new chicks are males !!!
I've got 3 clutches at the moment (only 4 birds in total) and all of them are males. I wonder how everybady else is going ?

I'm interested in what other people have got too! Maybe it's a climate thing, affected by rain or temperatures. It's all very interesting though. I'll have to keep my eye out for this years blue girls, love the thought of an albino baby...... that's another one I'd keep! ;D

My red rumps aren't hatching anything at the moment, so count your blessings. I'm still hopeful though. Always the optimist. ;D

My Opaline hen has gone down for the third time this season she has two eggs and has already given me two beautiful baby's one a lutino her and the other a male. I am also hopeful that my other Lutino pair will go down for their first clutch this year.
