my new baby again

here is another pic of my little baby. He/she is growing fast and now seems to recognise me and likes to be with me.





he/she is about 7 weeks old now and just so cute.

Oh pollyparrot, I must be living now I own an Alexandrine heh. ;D I still love my eclectus red head though and she lets me know I am living too. she gets very loud if i talk too long to the baby. LOL

He/she is certainly looking good Tracey, you are doing a wonderful job. That would have to be my greatest joy when I am h/rearing birds is when they recognize your voice and get so excited when you walk in the room. Makes you feel like you are doing something right Cheers Anna

I noticed by the pictures of other peoples alex's that the two I have had (Kumar and this one) seem to be a lot darker. Maybe it is just their bloodlines??? They both came from the same breeder.

I have been told by a breeder that the males are a darker richer green than the females. Don't know how right he is but my male is a richer green than the female.
So you may have a male.

I found out his/her hatch date is 13/10/05, so now i know when to celebrate his birthday. ;D I do not know Skye's hatch date just that she was 4 months old when i got her on 11/09/05, so we celebrate her hatchdate on the same birthday as my staffy 17th May.

I thought i had posted this picture so forgive me if this is doubled somewhere. But I think this is cute. He is now minus the "food" on the feathers. ;D
