For those of you in NSW I was over at Betta Birds today and was very sorry to hear that during the Christmas close down Kevin was robbed probably as late as last wednesday night. The thieves new what they were looking for and took a pair of ringnecks a pair of Alexandrines a pair of quakers and Kevins pet Long Billed Corella Polly.
He had polly for 15 years, she was a fully trained bird when ever anyone entered the shop she would she would greet them and offer them a kiss she was the sweetest bird you would ever find.
They came in through a non alarmed bared window, cut the bars out, in the back of the shop and left through the door which set the alarm off. Kevin beleives he knows who it was and they were at the shop a couple of days before he closed up for Christmas asking about the birds that were stolen. The male is completly bald his head was shaven and the woman had long dark hair they were in there late 20's.
If you are offered a very tame long billed corrella or a pair of quakers cheap be carefull the birds could be the ones in question, and be carefull who you let in to view your birds.

Hi John, That is a terrible thing to happen to anyone. There are some real scuzbuckets out there who just don't give a damm who they hurt for the sake of making some quick easy money. Breeders work hard to get good birds which can often take years to build up only to have lowlifes like that steal them. I hope this couple get caught & get everything that they deserve & more. Everytime I read something on various sites about peoples birds being stolen it makes me so mad . I hope that Kevin will get at least his pet corella back as people are becoming more aware about stolen birds now, Cheers Anna
