Hi I'm new to the site.
My name is jill, I live in Melbourne.
I have two lorikeets, Felix and Oscar who talk non stop.
Two young Alexanders, Alex and Cleo who are just starting to talk.
Two budgies, snowy and blue.
One young galah called Charlie, who didn't have a good start in life with humans, but is slowely settling in. And about 14 tiels, mostly new babies out of the nest..Spring came early..I love them all..This site seems really good.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, this is such a lovely site..Sen, I was surrounded by galahs when I was young, my grandmother used to hand rare them, There a great pet, but charlie isn't hand reared, which was not what I wanted but he was 5 months old, he was treated quite roughly, so I took him home, and he's coming along really well. I've had the last two weeks off work, so he's been out of his cage every day along with the two alexanders.

good to see youre doin well with him.
i could never handle a galah as a pet. spent 20 years round one and saw how much it needed.
so whilst i love the species i know i couldnt do it justice.
