My name is Pauline and |I share my love of birds with my Hubby and 3 boys Anthony 22, Andrew 20, and Jeremy 16. We have been breeding birds for 24 years. Starting with budgies, them Rosellas, about 10 years ago of brought my son a cockatiel as a pet and them I caught the bird bug. I brought myself a pair of cockatiels and hand reared the babies, them I brought more cockatiels, ringnecks, plum heads, kakarikis, yellow turks, rosa bourkes, quakers, alexandrines, I love breeding them and handrearing their babies.

Welcome aboard,It shore does sound like you have the bird bug there like many of us us nuts...I have ove 100 teils,20 odd budgies inclding the eingish ones...love birds,fishers,sulphurs,a major,along bill corella (mad one),elegants,nandays,alexandines,quails,and soon to have some green cheek conures.....Almost forgot my ring necks.....

Wow you really are a long time bird addict aren't you???LOL Welcome to this great forum and I hope to chat with you soon. I have only cockatiels that I am addicted to!! I don't think my budget would stretch to any more at the moment......tiels seem to keep me busy and broke!LOL Hope you enjoy this great forum and make as many new friends as I have! We are all bird nuts and on this forum at least we are understood for our addictions!LOL

Hi Pauline and welcome, I have had various birds on and off since I was very young, rosellas, peaches, doves, king parrots, galahs, a White Cockie, quails, budgies, and at the moment I just have a few breeding pairs of Tiels but I'm a sucker because I love their babies too much and keep them, so I have lots of pet ones in doors you might say that I'm a nutter about my tiels but there are lots of us in here just the same, I think you will fit in here with us very well ;D

Hi Joanne,
I have been in the cockatiel society for about 8 years when all the old members were there. This year i have only been to about 4 meetings. I am hoping to get to a few more next year. The club seems to be gettng it all together again. I am also a friend of Simones the lady you brought your pastleface cockatiels from. You rang me for her new number when you lost your cockatiels. I am also a friend of Wendys. I hope that is a little help.

Ahhhhh...now i have it worked out! Yes I do remember our conversation on the phone.....thankyou again for that phone number!I still haven't got round to see her yet but did get her on the phone. I look forward to meeting you at one of the clubs monthly gatherings then.
