hello all, merry xmas and a happy new year to all!!!! my name is wayne, and we live in CQ. i have (with girlfriend) moved back home to the oldies (to save money? ??) and have taken over their yard!!! between me and my sisters we have a few birds. starting out there are only 8 ringnecks at the moment (getting more) 50 or so budgies (still growing) 40 or so quarrions (stillgrowing) a couple of pair of silver king quails, bourkes 2 pr, 1pr turks, 1 pr scarlets and a heap of zebra finches. plus my four pigdogs and a 15mth old weaner steer. oh and some chooks and 5 cats. so yeah our pet food bill is huge!!! from what ive seen in my few hours on this site it looks great - well done!! cheers wayne.......

Hi Wayne and welcome to this great forum. I think I have actually emailed you in the past about pastelface/yellowface tiels you asked about! Great to see you found us here. Hi Wayne, And a Merry Xmas to you and your family, It sounds like you love animals and birds like me. You are so lucky to have the room to keep all your animals. My son would love to own his own steer. He loves cows and pigs. I hope you will enjoy the site as much as me.

thanks guys for the friendly welcome!! i will get some pics organised and post them. we are only on 3 acres though. the oldies arn't to bad, they understand the passion involved. we also feed wild native parrots as well - weve had up to 3prs of rosellas, 2pr of crimson wings with babies and 36 king parrots at one time. WOW - yes! but they come in dribs and drabs at the moment. + galahs and cockatoos in big numbers. these are all wild and will stay wild!! they way i like them.

Yes the bills for food can be a lot..So you have a farm there I see ;D...Good work ..welcome aboard have a lot of fun..
