I'm Linda and I'm from Florida, USA. I've been breeding lovebirds since 1990 and they are my favorite species of bird. I have 5 pet parrots that live with me...Ginger(imported CAG hen), Harley (TAG male), Alex (BFA female), Dao (male Military Macaw) and Georgia (female Military Macaw).
I've bred 5 species of lovebird and my all time favorite is the Abyssinian.

Natalie, Much to my surprise, my male and female Militaries are brother/sister. I bought them from 2 different places, not realizing that they came from the same breeder, who only had one breeding pair. When I bought them, I had intended to breed them but the male is very bonded to me so that will never happen. If I want to breed the female, I will have to find her a different mate.
