Hi, everyone, thought I'd pop in and say hi. I don't own any birds but I do look after sick, injured and orphaned wild birds. At the moment my partner and I have 3 kookaburras and 5 magpies between us. I get the littlies and really sick ones as he works shiftwork so I have to do the regular feeds and any wound cleaning and other such health care. I've enjoyed my little look around so far and am looking forward to reading more from you all.
Cheers, Jules

Hi Jules, Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to be for any birdlover. I have made some wonderful friends here and I am sure you will too. I worked for a vet years ago and I too have looked after kookaburras and magpies and even a crow once. I adore the kookaburras. They are beautiful birds. I must say I actually loved the crow I had too. He was so cheeky and funny and it was sad to see him be released. Hope to get to know you more and hear all about your birds Regards Jo-Anne
