Hi, We have just acquired an aviary (although it may fall apart in a strong wind by the look of it). We currently have a large cage that we bought from a market, it's approx 1.4m long, .50m deep and 1.0m high. In the last week I have increased our bird population from 5 budgies to now having 10 budgies and 2 king quail (the really small ones, is that what they're called).
Anyway, we were interested in possibly breeding them (for our own purposes only), so I thought I'd do a search and see what popped up and I have arrived on this sight. First impressions are, GREAT, LOT'S ON INFO AND I'M SURE TO GET SOME HELP HERE.
Hope to make lots of friends and acquire lots of knowledge on here in the future.

A great big AussieBirds welcome Shelly so glad you found us and we look forward to hearing from you in the near future. There are lots of Budgie breeders here and they are all very willing to give you all the help and advice you need ...........welcome.

Well I've posted my first piccy in the Budgies section, along with a question about the sex of my birds, lol. Too bad, it would appear my 2 birds are Gay Pierre's!!!!
