Hi everyone! My name is Mel, i am a vet nurse from Adelaide and i have a 6 month old male Eclectus named Ollie. He is a beautiful boy and my pride and joy. He can say hello and is working on other words as well. He LOVES his food and his toys and is a constant source of enjoyment. Playing After a shower

You won't regret it if you get one, they are the most loving and gorgeous birds with loads of personality (although I am bias!).

Hello Mel, I am biased too.................I own a beautiful redhead myself. ;D My girl talks up a storm and sometimes talks in context (blows me away at times). she is not a cockatoo love bug, but she shows her love for us in other ways. she loves to sit on my shoulder and rub her head on my cheeks, or preen my hair or nibble on my neck, ears and face...............I mean nibble too not nipping. I have her harnessed trained also and she has a travel cage and a collapsable travel cage for her home away from home when travelling with us.
Welcome and I for one am looking forward to reading more about your bird. ;D
