I see there are a few familiar faces here Well for those who I don't know, my name is Tasha and live in drought stricken Central West NSW. I have a bird or two...........or twenty Thanks to the "For Sale" sections of forums & "Petlink" lol. Majority of my birds are Indian Ringnecks, but I am also beginning to gather a collection of Tiels, Eckies, Rainbows, Galahs and Sun Conures On my "wish list" are, African Grey, Macaw (blue & gold), Albino, Silver & Creamio IRNs, and recently saw the colours that Lovebirds come in so on the list it goes ;D............. just to name a few lol The backyard is adorned with aviaries and the house is starting to get quite full to But I do need to keep up with Shane (B/F). He keeps reptiles, snakes mainly , so when he gets a new snake, it is only fair I get a new bird....don't you all agree???!! So really it is NOT my fault.......he keeps buying reptiles ;D ;D Looking forward to "chatting" with all here and hearing about your birds. Tasha P.S Hiya BirdLady77 ;D

G'day Tasha! I remember you from a forum I used to be a regular on. Nice to know that your addiction has progressed and is nice and strong. I definately agree that you must get a bird when he gets a new snake, it is only fair.

Hey Tash, lovely to see you here. So we'll be seeing you in the confessional occasionally? No it's not your fault if Shane insists on more reptiles, you just have to make the best of the situation by getting more birds don't you LOL.

Tasha You're are right you can't help it if he keeps bringing new pets home and you have to even things up, it does all need to be fair. If only mine would buy pets so I could use that excuse, its the best I've heard yet

Welcome to the forum Tasha. I got my grey because my husband got a brand new trail bike so I think the thing is to encourage him to get a couple of really expensive reptiles in order to get what you want. I've also got a creamino IRN and it's been interesting to watch the colour development as Ty is getting older. They really are a gorgeous looking bird.
