Well thank you Craig. ;D Hi and welcome to our lil forum and back to the addictive world of birdkeeping LOL. 6 kids I've got 2 and thats plenty. though they're 20 and 16 so not littleuns anymore. Can't help you with finding birds as I'm all the way in the opposite corner of the country to you but there are plenty of Qld'ers here who will be able to steer you in the right direction.

Hi Craig Great to see another Qld'der on board Keep an eye on Petlink, I always see birds in your area I'd like (just remember with petlink internet is open to scammers so best to see the birds before parting with money and delete anything from Africa) and the Toowoomba bird sale is coming up too

Well we have a lot in common Craig ........... firstly I also "own" 6 children. lol 3 older ones have left home and I am trying to convince a 20 year old to leave home too. lol (she wont take the hints) and there is an 18 year old threatening to leave (she thinks I am scared lol) and then we still have a 5 year old learning the ropes here. lol Secondly I also live in Qld and we regularly go to the Cooyar (have a rental house there) and Wondai area (best bud of 36 years lives there). Thirdly .......... well I love birdies too. ;D
Welcome and hopefully you will get some new birds and can tell us about them.

WELCOME ballarden. Shame that you had to sell your birds earlier, but what a great excuse to restock now!! I am in NSW (used to live in QLD) so no help to you either. Yes Petlink does have quite a few birds. I bought a Eckie hen from there not too long ago. Very happy with her to. Like Jane mentioned, lots of scammers, just sift through. The bird sales are a great way to part with money.....eerrr I mean buy new birds to Hey vankarhi, I see you visit Wondai. I used to live not far from there before I moved south. The sleepy citrus capital......wait for it.....MUNDUBBERA!!!! I used to go to Kingaroy a fair bit to when I was up there. Tasha

Hi Craig and welcome. Can't help you on the princess due to location and I'm more the exotics gal. I did have a pair many years ago and they are beautiful birds. Hubby likes them so who knows, if the real estate opens up in the back yard then we may end up with another pair. PS I stopped at 3 boys and they're a nightmare atm.
