You must handraise for the love of it then, lol. $15 for handraised just doesn't seem to justify the time and effortHi Kim and steve, I sell aviary budgies for $10 or $12 if the are albino,lutino or something different, i could charge more but i don't. Anna

Hi Kim and Steve, Yes i do love handrearing but i also handrear a heap of other birds as well so it all adds up in the end, also i sell handreared budgies,teils and lovebirds in bulk so that helps as well.

::)Hi, I have a yellow face blue green hen paired up with a harlequin cock & they have given me 4 harlequins & 2 blue greens, then I got my second albino in 2 years from another blue green hen & blue cock, as well as a lutino from mustard hen & green mustard cock(the only egg that hatched).......isn't it exciting when the babies feathers start coming through to see what colour they are...I breed cockatiels also but the budgie colours never cease to amaze me

I've just read this post. I've heard recently about purple budgies and would love to see one. Does anyone have this colour?
