hi guys well awoke again to find baby blue the one who had a rough start cold and half dead for the second time now ive pulled him through again and am trying to get ideas of what could be the problem i took him out of the brooder as he is fully feathered and starting to eat seed (with me still feeding too) now the nights are warm but he cant seem to hold heat whats with that? mabe he must stay in the brooder till adult hood any ideas??

It sounds like he may not be very strong Vickie and i would suggest that you do leave him in the brooder until he is ready to come out by his self. I have had babies that refuse to leave and remain sitting in the nest box with thier head poking out and being fed by mum or dad until they are ready to leave the box. You have to remember this little one had a rough start to life and will not be as strong as he could be so he needs that little bit of extra TLC.
