Lost 4 little baby budgies today. Lost them to a metre and a half Central Australian Carpet python!!! He had moved in over night, and enjoyed the aviary smorgass board just sitting there. I had wondered why my mice problem had dissapeared!!! I certainly got the shock of my life inspecting the box!!!

God I hate snakes  your lucky it didnt clean out the whole aviary. John |

yeah lucky you do regular checks
other wise there would have been more birds
lost. i have been out this morning and checked all my aviaries for small gaps and spaces where a snake could get in and there is none. we get a a couple of snakes around here but not many. but better to be safe than sorry especially with my eckies.
