My new baby

I got my very first budgie ;D
It is violet in colour and so beautiful
Hes a boy and has been out of his nest for 3 days now
he is very friendly and loving
I am holding him and touching him all the time to make sure he is tamed
I also talk and wistle to him
How long before he will start to woof whistle back and say hello etc.
He already whistle back when i woof whistle but not the right tune
I will post pics soon ;D

If you spend alot of time with him and whistle the same tune all the time he should pick it up sooner than you think. Mine is so good he picks it up in a matter of a week! And they do it when you least expect it too!

We got a new budgie tonight too. Ours is pale blue and white with black and white wings, I think. He is asleep now.
