Does anyone have information or even better photo's of Henry George Budgies. I saw an ad for the sale of these budgies but I didn't want to disturb the seller. And the last time I asked for information from a seller I never recieved a reply  Thanks everyone Amanda |

Hi Amanda
In 1992 a man named Henry George paid $10,000 for a Cobalt Blue Cockbird bred by Barry Cantel, This bird formed the basis for his stock birds from that date. They are very expensive birds and not your average budgies.

I thought that, that's why I'm asking. These birds are for sale from $50 to $300 a bird. Does anyone have links to photo's or more info on them?? I find this very interesting, such an expensive little bird! Definately for the serious breeder. I'd buy one, but I haven't the room, nor the money  . Someday |
