hello all thought i would share this with you all talk about a mixed bag and over crowded there is a total of 6 babies here   maybe next time she will pick a bigger log  regards bill |

I remember when i was breeding budgies in a big way Bill I had a nest box with 14 babies in it. They were the product of two hens that had lade in the same box and actually hatched and raised all 14 of them, it sure was crowded in there.

what little cuties and such pretty colours
so do budgies like logs to nest in ive only ever used nest boxes ?

what little cuties and such pretty colours so do budgies like logs to nest in ive only ever used nest boxes ? hello polly i give mine a choice and this female chose the log (she proberly regrets it now as she has to fight to get in and out of it at feed time as all the babies try to get feed first ) regards bill |

Wow, what great photos. Wonder what the hen will choose next time? Log or box? Decisions, decisions. They all look lovely and warm cuddled up so closely though. It is winter, let them cuddle.  |
