I got up to feed and squirt the birds this morning and a budgie has completely disappeared.
This is really freaky, nobody knows where it is, nobody has let it out (and I can tell by expressions on faces that I'm not being lied to).
The only thing I can think of is it has lifted the cage door itself (they're not overly easy to open but then again it's the only plausible explanation I can come up with).
The poor thing doesn't stand a chance, hubby said he thought he heard a budgie over the road (this was before we discovered her missing).
Oh well, I hope she's okay and somebody finds her and gives her a new home.
