Does anyone have Turks, Bourkes and Scarletts breeding yet? My Turks and Bourkes are looking interested, but the Scarletts don't seem to like each other at all. I'm curious as to how everyone else are going?

Hi Laraine, my Rosa Bourke's are definitely interested but the little buggers won't settle on a nest box yet. It has now been 3 weeks & they seem to want everyones else's nest box but their own. If they don't settle soon might have to put them in a big cage by themselves, as they are disturbing my tiels who already have eggs. Cheers Anna

It sure can be frustrating. My female turk parrot chose her nest but has been going in and out of it for about 3 weeks, but everytime I look no eggs. I caught my Bourkes "practising" about 3 weeks ago and found 1 egg pecked open on the floor of the cage, but nothing else. My pair of Scarletts couldn't care less about the breeding season.

This morning I discovered that my Turk parrot has finally laid an egg. From the size of it I'm not surprised it took so long, it is huge. ;D
