I am having a problem with my Bourke Parrots. Twice I have seen them mating and twice an eggs has appeared on the floor of the aviary. She hasn't picked out a nest even though there are 2 spare boxes. The 3rd is taken by my turk parrot who is sitting on eggs. I put the last egg under the turk parrot, but don't know how that will go. It was pretty cold.
Also how long each day can a bird spend not sitting on her eggs for them to still be viable?
