Hi Amanda, how are your turks going now? Are your Scarletts breeding yet?

my turks are doing well and still whistling of a night time My scarlets aren't interested in breeding which is sad I'd love to see babies from them. I finished work today so I'm going to get stuck into finishing cages and cleaning my house but there is no pressure for them to breed because I enjoy having them.

My Scarletts aren't breeding yet as well. The male is still developing the colours on his chest so he might be a bit young yet. My only remaining female turk is sitting on eggs. The pair of Bourkes continue mating and laying their eggs on the floor of the aviary. I've now put 2 of their eggs under my Turk and as of this morning she is happily sitting on them. Curious to know how that will go, but I figured its better than leaving them sitting on the floor of the aviary like the first one.
