Keep it in a dark place and let the little one rest up a bit, it will probably be dehydrated so it's important that it gets plenty of fluids, I would even suggest some energy drinks for it, if it is a baby as i think you are saying you will have to feed it with a raising formula at least three time a day. Keep us informed of it's progress

What John said is right. The two most important things are keeping fluids up, even if you have to drip water into it's beak, and keeping it in a dark, quiet place to keep it calm.

Try and get it some electrolytes, something like Electro-Vet. It is most likely dehydrated.

sorry but whatz Electro-Vet and its in a box with a t towel on the bottom and a hankicheif over it and i just checked it then and its asleep with its head tucked behind its shoulder . i tryed some handreasing formula (vet a farm)but he didn't get much at all , i'll drip some water in its mouth in about half an hour i'll just let it get some sleep for the moment. iam not to experiencd with budgies but i think its fairly young, 6 weeks .

you did your best, you have no idea how long it had been on the hot road and what other injuries it had. Good on you for trying at least. Sorry it died, but at least you tried

I'm sorry you lost the little one Tori it was obviously more traumatized than you knew. It is always a touch and go thing with birds like that, at least you know the little one was comfortable in it's last hours.

I'm sorry to hear it died, I know how you feel when you try to help an injured bird and despite your best efforts it dies. At least you tried and you gave it loving attention so don't be too hard on yourself, as John said it is always touch and go, and you never really know the extent of its injuries. Good on you for trying.
