The new Turk parrot that I bought a couple of months ago is breathing heavily all the time. It seems healthy enough but I am worried about it. Has anyone had any similar problems and can advise me. Thanks.

I took my little girl to the vet last Saturday. She has a respiratory infection. She is on medication daily and I have to take her back on Saturday. She is still tail bobbing, but seems a bit brighter. She doesn't like it when she sees me coming. ;D

that's sad to hear, unfortunately the neophemas are a very delicate birds. The books say the scarlets are the more delicate but I found the turks were more so

I hope she is okay Laraine, this weather we have been having over the last couple of weeks is enough to make any of your birds crook, I have 9 baby budgies at the moment and I am keeping a close eye on them.
