I think I read that he's actually a very big budgie breeder and also wrote an article in this months Birdkeeper mag, (I've bought the mag but not read it yet.... looked at the pics though there's a red african grey parrot)

Tracy, He had a show on TV a few weeks ago. It was a once off.But it could become more. from Robert and Angel

bummer I think I started to watch that and must have got side tracked. I do remember commenting to hubby "since when is Burkes Backyard back on". I used to love that show. I am disappointed I missed it now.

Don Bourke is considered an expert in the field of budgie breeding he is a very clever man and knows his stuff.

I regularly see don burke budgies for sale up at Kellyville pets if they are really his... They are good looking budgies large foreheads and striking postures a little more expensive though  . |
