hi at what age do u take budgies away from parents if u want to train them and at that stage do they just eat seed etc,,,,,,,thanks Ray

Hi Ray
Budgies fledge (leave the nestbox) at 5 weeks and about 1-2 weeks after that they are eating and drinking on their own. Make sure they are self sufficient before taking them from their parents (about 6-7 weeks of age) and then you can hand tame them.
