well I was going to suggest more food and toys but it looks like you have covered all bases. It is probably going to hard to stop if she is doing it for pleasure. My ekkie screams sometimes because our house is too loud and she joins in the roucus but also if she thinks she needs more food. If i put something in for her to munch on she is quiet for a while. I have a front and back verandah so I can put her on them for a change of scenery too and it usually works too. Just out of desperation, try taking them out and giving them a shower it might give them something else to do like preening themselves and drying off. Maybe a light mist with a spray bottle every time they do it. But from all the reading I have done, they recommend ignoring them...............but when it is constant and loud it is so hard to ignore. You also need the entire household to ignore them too otherwise it will not work. If you could put earplugs in and just attend to them when necessary and ignore them the rest of the time, they might give up, but it would take quite a long time to extinguish this behaviour. They say any form of attention is not good during this time I hope you get some good advice from somewhere real soon.

Seems like you've tried everything from the book. They say that sometimes it can be an underlying problem, so maybe you gotta try to work out why your bird isn't happy? I would suggest making little whistling sounds, or more accepteable sounds whenever he squakes, if it wasn't such a constant screeching Try this guy, I bought his training dvds and he really is amazing. Trust me its not one of those gimmick sites. He will give you some free pointers if you enter your email where he says...obviously to promote his products, but they are really very good www.birdtricks.com/survey2.shtml

Also iv started doing the spray bottle thing and yesterday when i 1st did it, it made them 100x worse. then they just sat there in the sun shivvering looking at me like "what did u do that 4 ) lol and i felt realy nasty. but after about an hr of sitting there dripping wet they realised they had 2 clean themselfs 2 get rid of the water But 2day wen pearl was playing up i went out there str8 away and squirted her, then waited a few mins and she made more noise so i did it again, that went on for about 5mins untill she realised that when she makes a noise she gets wet, and its made it alot better! i havnt herd peep from her in the last hour!

Some people do not believe in doing this, but as long as it is not a strong jet stream and only a gently spray...........and it is working............I don't see a problem.

I do this with my Budgies, that and the time out Corner but if this is working then it's great. The only thing is make sure they can't see the bottle as they spend the whole day being scared and then they learn the bottle is not to be feared but the bottle in your hands

Are you able to take your bird out and play with it? Does he/she enjoy being outside with you?

Spraying a bird like this is punishment, someone said "they hate it" so it is punishment, I am one who disapproves of this technique. Have you tried putting your birds where they can see the family and call back to them. They may be contact calling you, something that is natural flock behaviour, you should be flattered, they are calling you, you're considered part of their family.
