Snoopy my baby galah, tried to fly off his cage and crashed and split his chest...He's had three stitches, poor guy must have been in alot of pain after the anasthetic wore off, he kept biting into the wire of his cage all day...The guy I got him off clipped him the back of his wing to the bone..He's alot better today..

I hope all will be ok..poor guy...

Thanks pollyparrot, He's re-opened his stitches, I have to wait until tomorrow morning to get him back to the vet..Thanks to mother hens help online, Thanks also Billspets...he's bandaged up and in a pet carry box..the poor fellow..Unfortunately there isn't any after hours vet support. They only take dogs and cats...

I will be thinking of him all night..and praying all is ok...

Snoopy's ok, he hadn't broken any of the stitches, it looked like they were to me, but the vet checked him, and fall just caused it to bleed as he's only had the stitches in a few days..He's in a smaller cage now, when I let the others out, I'll just bring him inside and play with him on the floor...

Thats good...all we now need is for a speedy recovery...I am happy that he is in a small cage...Would not want him to fall again...Poor guy has been thru a lot....Thanks for letting us know..
