hello all i have a female galah that 3 years ago was eggbound and i was able to save her but for the last couple of years all she seems to do is lay eggs then break them i first thought it was the male doing it but i have given her a new male so i dont belive it is the male doimg it i have given her several different logs and boxes made sure there is ample nesting materal in the for her to be honest i am at a loss on this one thanks in advance for your help regards bill

Hi Bill unfortunately bad traits can creep in sometimes and there isn't much you can doabout it, sometimes it helps to remove the the good eggs as they are being laid and replace them with fake ones then return the good eggs once laying is completed. egss can be kept for up to a week as long as they are turned 90 degrees 3 times per day if they are stored upright even better large end down cheers Frank
