Ok, well...remember how i said i wanted to move here to aussie? lol well i have!!!! BUT to go with that meant selling all my birds so atm i have noneee which feels really strange lol. Since i got to melb around mmm 4 odd weeks ago allllll i have done is search for a cockatooooooo omg i cant believe your prices here lollll i almost fell over when i asked around for prices on cockatoos and u sell them for what we would pay for a budgie!!!!! lmao so anyhow i still havent found much but am still looking Rach

Welcome to Australia! I hate how you can't bring your beloved little ones with you! I think if they pass all these tests to see if they are healthy enough etc they should be allowed to. Hope you find a little feathered one to spoil rotten! Amanda

Hi Rach, hope you are settling in well here in Australia. What a bugger you couldn't bring your fids with you, that would have been so hard for you. I hope that you find what you are looking for in a bird as that will help ease the heartache of leaving your others behind. Cheers Anna

Good Luck P.S the budgie price ones $40-50 are generally wild caught.

awww anna i knowwwww, my ringnecks where just about to lay too lol all those questions and excitement and i didnt even get to see any BUT i made sure they ALL went to wonderful homes and ppl who knew how to look after them!!! macawman, that sounds about right, in excess of a grand to 1200 odd u will pay for a cocky in nz lol hence the shock of seeing them from around $50 to most expensive ive seen so far would be $150 and that was with a HUGE cage to go with it lmao Rach

yep i got my cockatoo as a chick for $60 bucks lol and dad was pulling out his hair wen he saw how much cockatoos were wen there in nz wen i waz livin there he brought me a xmas present it was a rainbow lorrie he paid $500 bucks talk about expensive
