Fresh corn on the cob is always a favourite, green leafy things like buk choy and spinach are good, not lettuce as its mostly water, apples, pumpkin just experiment and see what he likes Avoid avacado though.

Try him on all sorts of fruit and veges (not avocado though) try to make them a bit colourful. I also have frozen veges in the fridge in case I have nothing. Mine love the frozen peas, beans and corn.

because of his age it might take some time for him to test the new food out. A younger bird would be curious and want to play and mouth and taste test. Good luck and I hope he decides to taste test the new food being offered. ;D

Here is what I posted on what to feed cockatoos, their dietry needs are the same. I give my birds: A Base of Seed and Pellets (always available) UNSALTED nuts at treats A wide range of fruit and veggies during the day A little bit of cooked pasta during the week What NOT to feed: Avacado Chocolate caffine lettuce (because it wastes space in their stomach) Black sun flower seeds (grey or white only, in moderation) Hope this helps! Good luck with getting him to try new things
