lol back again tracey with plenty more pics. Jetta is doing really well in her harness training as well which is great. still hasnt been outside yet.

if I do get myself one this year I am hoping whoever handraises him for me will allow him to be harnessed so as to get used to it. Obviously I will buy/pay for the harness but I would like him to grow up knowing it and not being afraid.

Tracey it all depends on the nature of the bird I guess, whether they will let you harness train them or not. Thankfully Jettas nature is that of a placid one, and she will only let adults touch her. Im still not sure on how to put it on her yet, but andrew did it the other night. We are going away for two weeks next week and nat has the big guys for those two weeks, and she will continue the training for me then, so hopefully buy the time I get back I can take her outside with me.

Yeah I guess Judy, but I thought if the baby while being handraised was used to the harness then it wouldn't freak out when it is weaned and goes to its new home.

Jetta's bonded well with you Judy ,which is great to see How's her attitude at the moment calm or bossy,just wondering for my friend has one near enough to Jetta's age and his Too has gone a bit bossy "so to speak"so l thought l would ask for him |

thats ok greg. Shes not real bossy, just independant of me atm. She cries alot still to be let out for a cuddle, and once shes had one shes fine for a bit.
She tends to get over independant when shes on my shoulder as shes so big, so I dont let her on my shoulder too much. Specially when there are people around as she tends to get nippy. And lol I like my ears the way they are.
