I have looked on american sites before (just had a quick check of that site too). The prices always look cheaper than here but when you do the converstion and pay postage and insurance, I always felt it probably wasn''t much cheaper to do it from Australia. Plus you have to wait and risk losing it in the mail..............sorry I am so pessamistic heh.
The other thing I would be worried about is the material that they are made of, like the chains and links.............are they stainless steel?
I am not sure what my galah died from, but after researching on the net, I am now suspecting it might have been a form of metal poisoning. The symptoms she had (looking back now) are similar. I thought some of the symptoms were hormonal. She had a favourite toy that was acrylic with a chain and key on it. She would sit and chew on it for ages. I assumed because I bought it from a pet shop and it was made especially for birds that it would be non toxic.................but unless it specifically states non toxic and stainless steel, then more than likely it is not.
I have put those sort of toys away now and usually now only buy wooden and rope toys. Or things will no chains or metal things dangling off them. My hubby bought me SS links which I use instead of the ones the toys come with.
Let us know what the toys are like when you get them. I for one am very curious and what you think they are like in price etc in comparison to what you could get here.
Just a cautionary note. I tend to ere on caution when I am not sure now.

The chains are Brass or Nickel plated (I am not sure if thats bad or good) but now I am a little worried However I have been assured of the toys quality from 3 years of great feedback from buyers, and the fact that she trials all new toys with her birds "AS AN OWNER OF A SULPHUR CRESTED COCKATOO, A RED TAILED BLACK COCKATOO, A MOLUCCAN COCKATOO, AN UMBRELLA COCKATOO, A BLUE AND GOLD MACAW, A SCARLET MACAW, A CONGO AFRICAN GREY, A SUN CONURE AND A BLUE CROWNED CONURE WE HAVE SPENT OUR DAYS WORKING TO KEEP THEM THE HAPPIEST AND HEALTHIEST WE KNOW HOW AND HOPE BY VISITING OUR STORE YOU WILL FIND SOMETHING TO ENRICH THE LIFE OF YOUR FEATHERED FRIEND. AS BY NOW WE ALL REALISE THAT WE ARE THE ONES OWNED BY THE BIRDS!!!!" Well the main thing that attracted me to these toys was their originality in design. I recieved them on Friday and am amazed by how colourful and well made they are. My conure is having an absolute ball with them...yet my quakers are still weary. The most I payed for a toy was $17.95 cgi.ebay.com/NEW-DOUBLE-WHIFFLE-RAWHIDE-MUNCH-PARROT-BIRD-TOY_W0QQitemZ7725648415QQcategoryZ20736QQcmdZViewItemand when she says that the picture doesn't do the toy any justice she is absoloutly right. If this was sold in petshops I would have payed around $35-50 As far as postage goes I was quoted $10 for 1 item then $3 for each additional item, which I thought was very good for shipping from the US. The only problem for me was stopping myself at 5 items lol As far as items getting lost in the mail, postal insurance is about $3(worth it for peace of mind) If worried about the honesty of the seller, she has excellent feedback. Although she accidently did pack a wrong item in my order, she was quick to resolve the problem and has sent the correct item without wanting extra payment for postage! so I got a bonus toy So basically I am absolutly thrilled with the product...but as soon as one of my birds grows an attachment to the chain I'm taking it away

sounds great. I thought the pictures looked good and I had not seen anything like them in pet shops either..........I have been to a few pet shops in Queensland too. We travel around for volleyball competitions and dog obedience trials, so I have been to pet shops in Brisbane (pet city is my fav there) and Toowoomba, been to I think it was 3 there, and 1 in Mackay and a couple in Bundaberg and I found a great one in Rockhampton. We have a couple in Gladstone too, but not much variety there.
can you post pics? I really would love to see them...............nosey little person heh?? ;D I love to shop for my birds........when I have the money. I thought also that from what I saw those toys would be around the $30 mark if bought here.
