I bet your counting the days now...I remember when I got my first Alexander, I had to wait 12 months and once she let me know he'd hatched, the next couple of months seemed like for ever, I was so excited when the day came and I went to the airport to pick him up, I got him home and let him out, I picked him up, he cuddled into me then cried and cried for about an hour poor baby...

if bill said said it was alright and my parents agreed to take me then i would be able to go see him. I don't have my licence or a car. I know quite well if bill said yes my parents will say no to take me there. They are allowing me to get the bird but they don't really like me getting one thats so expensive. My dad turns around and says why not get budgies i had 2 of them one straved it self to death found out later it was to young to leave its mother the other killed it self. So i said to my self no more budgies so i went out and brought a cockatiel which i owned for 2 years and half tryed to get him hand tamed which i couldn't so i sold him. Year later i have decided on a sun conure which i hope i have better luck with.

i'm going to try and do the best for this sun conure.I'm sure i will be happy with him. Everyone in my family said there not going to handle him but if they tryed later on my bird might not allow them near me.

Hi Tara, It would be best it the whole family interacts with the bird. The bird will be very friendly to all the family if they all feed and handle him. Sun Concures are very smart birds and will soon know who his friends are.

i'm sure things will change when i have him here they might say that there not going to handle him but i dare say when he comes here they won't be able to help them selfs.

And it would be a lot better if they did..For if you had to go away..They would need to take care of him for you...And I dont think they would like him much if they could not go near you while you had him with you..Let hope they all do make freinds with him...How could you not want to anyways.. thats what i was thinking he will have such a cute face you wouldn't be able to resiste but give him a cuddle. i have rats at the moment not for long as they are going to go to the pet shop my female has babies right now 12 of them and my mum and sister love them. every time i bring them out to tame them my mum picks one up. so i don't think my mum would be any problem getting to handle my bird. i know my neice will want to handle him but i'm not going to allow her too shes only 3 years old so a bird like a sun conure will do some damage if he bit her. my dad not to sure if he will handle him or not.the main people that would probably handle him will be me,mum,my brothers girlfriend, not sure on my brother, sister,or dad. i don't go away very often and if i did my sister or brother would look after the animals if we did go on a hoilday i would probably take my bird with me if my parents allow me too.
