Not to be rude but can someone please explain the copyright diclaimer which is displayed above the signature. Does this mean we sign over copyright of the content to the forum or is it copyrighting something else? I'm an ammature cartooninst and I've recently had some cartoons stolen, I just want to make sure if I choose to post any cartoons that they still remain copyrighted to myself. I appologise for the inconvinience, I may have missed that part in the user agreement. I'd really appreciate it if you could clarify. Thank you .

The copyright notice that appears here refers to the content of the forum and does not refer to your cartoons. We have copyright on the graphics that were created for AussieBirds and the content of information contained with in it, it also prohibits people from using your cartoons with out your permission.

Thank you, I appreciate that. Recently a forum administrator banned my access to some of my work, I used to cartoon avatars for free. I wasn't banned due to my own misconduct but because the administrator on that paticular forum became very hostile and started cyberstalking to the point where the matter was referred to the police. Due to this event taking place I've been very catious where I post pictures and content. I have no objections that my original posts are copyrighted to the forum , being an ex-moderator myself I understand that it is importaint to protect forum content.

I understand this 100% It is a shame that there are a bad few out there that will ruin it for the rest! This cyberstalking can get very nasty and very scary. I have had it to the point where i was getting phone calls aswell (they found out my number somehow ) But if we try and do the right thing that will make the biggest difference!
