Newbie with Avatar question

::)Howdy, great start ah - first post and i'm lost can't I upload an avatar straight from 'my pictures' - I'm puter stupid so HEEEEEELP hey I just previewed this post before I send it and now I don't even have an avatar all I have is the dreaded X

:-[ooops obviously I shouldn't try and post in blue - sorry...i'll get the hang of it but i'd really love to be able to use an avatar I already use...thanx in advance for all my questions i'm bound to ask....lol oh look, i have the devil avatar - that's cool for now since i'm in Tassie ;D

Hi Indi, to host your own avatar picture you need to first upload them to a host site like image shack or photo bucket. We have directions on the forum here in the section under Posting Pictures. Hope this helps. Cheers Anna
