Oh Polly, I am so sorry to hear that. I have a very sick cat on my hands too at the moment & I don't really know if she is going to pull through. Took her to the vet this morning expecting the worst, & she is on anti biotics & it is just wait & see. My cats are the same , don't bother about the birds, there are just too lazy. Not nice when you have to say goodbye to a member of your family. Sending you ((((((big hugs)))))))). Hope you feel better soon. Cheers Anna

Sorry to hear about your cat Vicki, they are always so quiet when I come around I can't imagine them touching birds anyway. 18 years is a pretty good innings but it doesn't make it any easier. thinking of you Bev

There's nothing more heart wrenching than saying goodbye to an old friend we had a ginger cat that was almost 20 when she died in my arms one night, I know how you feel Polly.

18 years of love and cuddles She'll take them all with her, I bet she is now running around like a kitten and has made heaps of friends. It's hard when you have a loved one put down. It's the worst experience and I wouldn't wish it on an enemy. Thinking of you Amanda (((((HUGS)))))
