I've been having a terrible few days. On Thursday Bobbie our baby tiel passed away. He'd taken to playing in his water and when my daughter found him all wet she dried him and warmed him up as he was shivering quite badly. Once he was dry he went back into the cage. I found him a couple of hours later lying on the bottom of the cage with a leg and a wing through the bars on the bottom. He was still alive but barely. He died in my hands about 15 minutes later. We are so heartbroken, it's taken me til now to be able to post this. This morning we also found Skye my crimson wing hen dead on the floor of her aviary. I don't know what happened to her but she panicked at everything and would throw herself onto the floor if anything came near the aviary wire.
R.I.P. my beautiful Bobbie and Skye you were both so precious, you were loved dearly and will be missed soooo much and never will be forgotten.
