I lost my girl Chai on Friday. She escaped and flew away. I am very sad and I miss her so much. I hope she is OK. We saw her twice after she flew away and she was heading for bush land. So hopefully she will be ok. I miss her!!!!!!!!!!! I appreciate everyone answering my silly questions. Hopefully we will be getting another bird when some time has passed. Thank you all!

I'm sorry to hear that. Have you tried advertising, outting up lost notices, asking neighbours? You might still get her back.

Thanks. Yes, we have put flyers up and have spoken to neighbors, looked for her by foot, bike and car and still not Chai! I understand she might not come back, but we have cage out on the deck with the door open and her stand in the lawn with seed on it just in case!

I am so sorry I hope you get her back. Sometimes they might go missing for quite a few days and still come back or you just might be lucky that someone is honest enough to give her back. fingers crossed.

Oh sorry to read about Chai Chai. I had a bird escape on me a few months back. I was lucky enough he returned the next day after his big adventure in the Big Bad World lol. Think he was glad to be back home...didn't have to go foraging for food lol. So you never know, he could still turn up! Fingers crossed for you.

Hi That is so sad...especially the bit where you said you have seen Chai a few times , flying off...and you are on the ground powerless to do anything about it oh goodness...that is heart breaking ....but don't give up hope yet...I have heard many stories where the bird has returned,... so just notify all your neighbours etc to keep a look out even leave notices at local parks and community centres and shopping malls and put out Chai's favourite food etc...hopefully he/she will return!! Fingers crossed!!!!
