Thanks Vankarhi and silvercloud no news as yet. I did the rounds today with flyers at the vets, rang all the wildlife carers and bird sanctuaries near and far, did a letter box drop...........I guess all I can do now is wait ......The little bugger I'm going to kill him if I get him back lol

Have you done a door to door knock of your neighbourhood yet??? I lost Bo (galah) quite a few times. A couple she flew off, a couple she walked off (clipped wings). One time I got her back when a neighbour found her strutting around their yard and i had been around door knocking so they came to me with her. I bought them a bunch of flowers and scratchy Good luck. The longest Bo was missing was 7 days and i found her over the side of town.............she had walked across the road, they did not have a cage but knew someone who did so they took her over there. But I did get her back..................more flowers and scratchies too.

Hi all, Vankarhi, I couldn't do that as I'm out in the country on acerage but i did a letter box drop.
I received a call at 9:30 tonight from a Wires lady who said that a lady had rung at about 6.30pm wondering what to feed the bird she had just found....................I am pleased to say my big green chicken is now home safe and sound looking very tattered and oh so hungry, he hasn't taken his head out of the feed bowl for about half an hour.
I would like to thank you all for your well wishes and crossing your fingers. I appreciate it very much. Regards Leah

Oh that is just fantastic news. Yes Amanda I know about that clip across the head/ears (whatever). Both Kara and Rhianna disappeared on me on separate occassions when very little. I usally found Kara in front of the donut stand...........but not this day.............after what seems like an eternity, I start to panick and when I find them.......................but what a relief to find them in one piece.
